Photography wasn't my first career. It was simply the one I was always meant to have.
For years, I worked in public health, helping families through some of life's biggest challenges. I earned my Master's in Public Health from Indiana University School of Medicine, wrote federal grants, built nonprofit programs, and spent my career serving people.
But photography had been quietly calling my name since I was old enough to hold a camera.
In 2013, I finally listened.
What started with one camera and one dream has grown into thousands of sessions, hundreds of weddings, and countless families who continue inviting me back to document every new chapter of their lives.
Today, weddings may be my specialty—but I believe every milestone deserves to be remembered beautifully.

Short answer? I ditched the fear and chased the dream.
From 2013 to 2017, I juggled photography on the side while working in marketing and nonprofit leadership (plus grad school, because why not?). But by baby #3, I realized I was craving more creativity—and in 2018, I made the leap into full-time photography. Best. Decision. Ever.
Now, I wake up pumped to shoot or edit, and I’ve built my dream studio to match the magic. I’m obsessed with what I do—and it shows.
Think equal parts calm energy, clear direction, and hype woman. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment deserves space, and keep things moving without ever making it feel rushed or awkward. My clients often tell me they forgot the camera was even there—and that’s exactly the goal.
I don’t just show up and shoot—I invest in the experience. I care about your story, your people, and the moments that matter most to you. From planning to delivery, everything is intentional, thoughtful, and done with heart.
You don’t need to know how to pose—that’s my job. I use movement, prompts, and natural interaction to help you relax and just be yourself. Most people tell me they’re “awkward” in photos… and then leave saying, “That was actually fun.”
