It’s rediscovering yourself after motherhood, heartbreak, weight loss, weight gain, divorce, burnout, survival, growth… or simply deciding you deserve to feel beautiful exactly as you are right now. Boudoir is for every woman. Every age. Every body. Every season of life. Some clients book a session as a wedding gift for their partner. Others book because they’ve spent years putting everyone else first and are finally ready to celebrate themselves. Some walk in nervous and shaking. Almost all leave standing taller, laughing louder, and seeing themselves differently than they did when they arrived.
... comfortable, classy, and completely judgment-free. You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to lose weight first. My job is to guide you through every expression, every movement, every tiny detail so you feel confident from start to finish. From cozy oversized sweaters to elegant lingerie to dramatic high-fashion vibes, your session is customized entirely around your comfort level and personality.
Boudoir can be soft and romantic. Bold and powerful. Playful and flirty. Dark and moody. Luxury hotel vibes. Studio glam. Bridal-inspired. Completely covered. Barely-there. The beauty of boudoir is that there are no rules except creating images that make you feel incredible. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, reclaiming your confidence, surprising your spouse, or simply documenting the version of yourself you are today… your story deserves to be captured beautifully.
You are worthy of being photographed now. Not ten pounds from now. Not after life slows down. Not after you become more confident. Now. Because the women you love probably already see the beauty in you every single day. Boudoir simply gives you the chance to finally see it too.
Boudoir can feel intimidating at first. That’s completely normal. My sessions are intentionally designed to feel relaxed, judgment-free, and empowering from the moment you walk in. You’ll be guided through every pose, expression, hand placement, and movement so you never feel awkward or left wondering what to do. No modeling experience required. Ever.
Boudoir is not reserved for one body type, age, size, or season of life. I proudly photograph women of all identities, backgrounds, shapes, and comfort levels. Whether you want cozy and modest, bold and dramatic, bridal-inspired, or fully glam, your session is customized around YOU. This experience is about celebrating who you already are... not changing yourself first.
Every final image is carefully hand-edited in my signature style: clean skin tones, true-to-life color, flattering light, and polished details without making you look fake or over-retouched. You will still look like yourself... just the version of yourself that forgot how beautiful she already was.
Boudoir photography requires vulnerability and trust, and I take that seriously. Your comfort, boundaries, and privacy are always respected throughout the entire process. Images are never shared publicly without explicit written permission, and you are always in control of what you wear, what you share, and how far you want to take your session.
Most women walk into their boudoir session nervous. Almost every single one leaves saying, “That was way more fun than I expected.” This isn’t just about creating pretty images for an album. It’s about confidence. Healing. Rediscovering yourself. Celebrating your story. You deserve to feel powerful, beautiful, feminine, and seen exactly as you are right now.
Every boudoir experience starts with a conversation. We’ll chat about your vision, comfort level, style preferences, insecurities, goals, and what kind of vibe you want your session to have. Nervous? Almost everyone is. You do not need to know how to pose or what to wear yet. This is simply where trust is built and confidence starts growing.
Once booked, we’ll begin planning your boudoir experience together. We’ll discuss wardrobe ideas, styling inspiration, location options, colors, textures, and overall mood. Whether you’re envisioning cozy and soft, bridal-inspired, luxury glam, dark and moody, or playful and confident, your session is designed entirely around YOU and your comfort level.
You’ll receive my exclusive boudoir preparation guide packed with real, practical advice to help you feel ready and confident before your session. Inside, you’ll find tips on what to bring, outfit inspiration, skincare suggestions, nails, hair prep, confidence reminders, and answers to the questions almost every client asks beforehand.
This is where the magic happens. I guide you through every single pose, expression, angle, movement, and tiny detail so you never feel awkward or unsure of what to do. We’ll hype you up, laugh a lot, probably say “OH MY GOD” at the back of the camera several times, and create images that feel powerful, beautiful, authentic, and completely you.
After your session, your images are carefully hand-edited in my signature style: polished, flattering, true-to-life, and never overdone. You’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery where you can relive the experience and select your favorite images, albums, wall art, or keepsakes depending on your package and goals.
The final step is seeing yourself differently than when you walked in. Your completed gallery is delivered in a secure online gallery designed for privacy and easy downloading. Whether your images are for yourself, your spouse, a milestone, healing journey, or simply because you deserve to exist in photographs beautifully... this experience is about more than photos. It’s about confidence you carry long after the session ends.
I KNOW THIS CAN FEEL A LITTLE INTIMIDATING. Boudoir is a vulnerable experience, and it’s completely normal to have questions before booking. Below are some of the most common things women ask before their session. And honestly? If you’re nervous, awkward, excited, unsure, self-conscious, or overthin
Absolutely not. In fact, most women who book a boudoir session have never done anything like this before. I guide you through literally everything... from your hands and facial expressions to your posture, angles, and tiny movements. You do not need modeling experience. My job is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful the entire time.
You can wear as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. Some clients bring lingerie, bodysuits, robes, oversized sweaters, jerseys, button-down shirts, bridal pieces, jeans, or even cozy loungewear. Others keep things more modest. There is no “right” way to do boudoir. After booking, you’ll receive a prep guide with outfit inspiration and planning tips to help make the process easy and stress-free.
Professional hair and makeup is highly encouraged because it photographs beautifully and helps most women feel more confident walking into their session. That said, it’s completely your choice. Some clients go full glam while others prefer soft, natural makeup or even no makeup at all. The goal is for you to still feel like YOU.
This is probably the number one thing I hear. Please know this: boudoir is not about having a “perfect” body. It’s about celebrating yourself exactly as you are right now. Every pose, angle, lighting setup, and edit is intentionally designed to flatter you naturally. You do not need to lose weight, tone up, or change yourself before booking. You are already worthy of being photographed beautifully.
Never without your explicit permission. Your privacy and trust matter deeply to me. Some clients are excited to allow sharing while others prefer complete privacy, and both are completely respected. You are always in control of what is shared publicly... if anything at all.
The sooner, the better... especially if your images are intended as a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or holiday gift. Boudoir sessions often book several weeks in advance, and you’ll want enough time for planning, editing, album creation, and delivery if products are being ordered.
Yes, absolutely. Many clients bring a trusted friend, sister, parent, or partner for moral support and hype-girl energy. I simply ask that whoever comes respects the atmosphere of the session and allows space for you to stay relaxed, focused, and confident throughout the experience.
Less is usually more. If you choose to tan, I strongly recommend avoiding brand-new spray tans within 24–48 hours of your session, as they can sometimes photograph orange, streaky, or transfer onto fabrics and sheets. A natural glow or subtle spray tan a few days beforehand tends to photograph best. Please also avoid tanning bed burns or peeling skin if possible.
Hydrate. Moisturize. Rest. Those three things honestly make the biggest difference. In the days leading up to your session, try to drink plenty of water and moisturize your skin regularly, especially elbows, knees, hands, and feet. Avoid trying aggressive new skincare treatments, chemical peels, or harsh exfoliation right before your session. If you wax or shave, doing so 1–2 days beforehand usually helps avoid irritation or redness.
Bring more options than you think you’ll need. Most clients bring 3–5 outfits or pieces they love along with accessories like heels, jewelry, robes, jackets, button-down shirts, wedding veils, or meaningful personal items. Nude undergarments, black undergarments, and seamless pieces are always great backup options. If you’re unsure about what photographs best, I’m happy to help you narrow things down when you arrive.
Try to avoid wearing tight bras, socks, leggings, or anything restrictive for several hours before your session because they can leave marks on the skin that photograph easily. Wear loose, comfortable clothing to arrive in. Eat beforehand, hydrate well, and try not to rush into your appointment stressed and overwhelmed. Boudoir is a full experience... not something you need to “survive.”
You probably will for the first few minutes. Almost everyone does. And then something shifts. Once you realize you’re being guided the entire time and see how incredible the images already look on the back of the camera, the nerves usually melt away quickly. The session is intentionally paced to help you ease into things naturally instead of feeling thrown into the deep end.
You are human. Nearly every woman who walks into my studio has something she’s worried about. Stretch marks, scars, acne, loose skin, cellulite, surgical scars, and insecurities are all incredibly normal. Boudoir is not about pretending those things don’t exist. It’s about photographing you beautifully and intentionally. Flattering light, posing, angles, wardrobe choices, and thoughtful editing all work together to help you look and feel your best while still looking like YOU.
You definitely don’t need to, but if it helps your confidence, there’s nothing wrong with saving inspiration photos or practicing facial expressions in the mirror a little beforehand. That said, posing for boudoir feels very different than it looks. My job is to coach you in real time because tiny adjustments make a huge difference on camera.
A glass of champagne while getting ready? Totally fine. Showing up intoxicated? Definitely not. Boudoir sessions require balance, coordination, communication, and trust, and alcohol can actually make posing more difficult while increasing bloating, redness, and dehydration in photos. The goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and fully present during your experience.
Good. Honestly. Most women who book boudoir say exactly that. Boudoir is not about performing some unrealistic version of “sexy.” It’s about confidence, emotion, vulnerability, softness, power, connection, femininity, strength... all of it. Some of the most breathtaking images come from authentic emotion and subtle confidence, not forced poses or over-the-top expressions.
